Bienal Foto Lima is a photography journal, and this page covers the practical terms of reading it. Anyone using the site is taken to accept them.
Technique notes come with variables attached
Settings, workflows and gear impressions here describe what worked for a given camera, lens and light. Change the sensor, the subject, the distance or the weather and the result changes with it. Nothing on this site is a professional guarantee, and the exposure you take home is yours.
Kit reviews and prices
Bodies and lenses are reviewed on the firmware and at the price current when the piece was written. Manufacturers revise both, and regional availability varies. Confirm specifications with the maker before buying.
Photographs on this site
Unless a caption says otherwise, the images belong to Bienal Foto Lima and are not stock. They are here to illustrate the writing, not as free assets: no reuse without asking, and a credit alone is not permission.
Words
Original text on the site is ours too. A short excerpt with a link back is fine; a full reprint requires our agreement.
Sponsored placements and outbound links
Some slots on this site are advertising, and articles link to retailers, manufacturers and other photographers. Those pages are run by other people and we answer for none of them; a link is a pointer, not a seal of approval.
No warranty
The journal is provided as it stands, with no warranty of accuracy or availability, and to the extent the law permits we accept no liability for loss arising from relying on it.
Revisions
These terms change occasionally; whatever appears here on the day you visit is what applies. Questions go to [email protected].
